Insight
Men want to be better allies to women, but many men don’t know where to start.
The murder of Sarah Everard ignited emotions all across the UK and the world. Women were tired of hearing what they could do to be safer. We need to bring both women and men together to help end violence against women.
Idea
Educate and support men on what they can do.
In just one week, we created #allmencan an initiative to raise awareness of how men can help end violence against women.
We brought together a coalition of over a dozen charities and organisations. Secured over 6,000 billboards across the country. Had our social assets shared with social influencers – even with a repost from Netflix!
#allmencan manifested in digital billboards, branded social channels (@allmencanorg) and content, a website, influencer outreach, press coverage and a coalition.
Impact
From poster campaign to growing movement.
Within a week of launch:
7 more partners joined the coalition with more being added every day.
A third global media company has offered to donate their space.
Charities in Europe, Australia and New Zealand have organically taken up the call for #allmencan
#allmencan Phase 2 already in the works
All with a budget of £0.
